Fingers crossed they'll be some time for them to explore their romantic present as well. In "Obsidian", Marceline and Princess Bubblegum will go on a journey to the Glass Kingdom in order to prevent a disaster, while also exploring their pasts. "BMO" will follow the titular adorable robot as they attempt to solve an emergency in space, because they are absolutely the most qualified resident of Ooo to deal with that sort of thing. We already have descriptions of all four episodes though, and it looks like we'll be catching up quite a few of the series' most beloved characters.
Like Adventure Time, Adventure Time: Distant Lands will be produced by Cartoon Network Studios, though we don't yet know which members of the original cast and crew will be returning.
